Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) chunks
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) black pepper
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 bottle (341 mL) VH® Butter Chicken Sauce
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) heavy or whipping (35%) cream

Step one
Season chicken with salt and pepper.

Step two
In large skillet set over medium-high heat, melt butter. Cook chicken for 6 to 8 minutes or until starting to brown. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is soft.

Step three
Reduce heat to medium. Pour in VH® Butter Chicken Sauce and cream; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
Tips
Serve butter chicken over steamed basmati rice and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro. Alternatively, serve with warm naan.
